On a frigid day in mid February, just one block off the hustle & bustle of Bloomfield Ave., Bloomfield NJ, in a majestic Victorian residence one week prior to renovation, an avant garde and very sexy photo shoot takes place. Models with smoky eyes, crimson lips and intricate hair styles strike poses, ambiance complete - with the latest sounds of Balearic groove dance music wafting in the background.
The house had fantastic grand old rooms with 12 foot ceilings, saturated with natural sunlight, adorned with original beautiful architectural accents, telegraphed geometric forms of formerly hung paintings decorate the vintage wallpaper - stained and abraded with age, bare plaster walls embellished with patina, cracks and water stains…
Monika Broz, award winning fine art photographer and her collaborative partner, visionary artist and art director, Beverley Pattenden invited 2 talented fashion designers, local Lisa Krizner George and Philadelphia based Psydde Delicious to participate.
Along with professional hair stylists
and make-up artists,
Delicious & Lisa Krizner-George’s corset designs transformed models by integrating sexy one of a kind corseted wear with high fashion concepts to create innovative and stunning boudoir portraits.
